68-Year-Old Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on 19th Street
SAN PABLO, CA (May 12, 2022) – On Saturday, authorities arrested Jesse Dubois after a fatal bicycle crash on Rumrill Boulevard.
The crash took place along Rumrill Boulevard at 19th Street around 12:15 a.m. on May 7th.
According to reports, Dubois driving his 2011 burgundy Nissan Sentra collided with a 68-year-old man riding a bicycle.
Officers stated that Dubois did not stop to aid the victim and instead fled the scene.
Responding paramedics discovered the 68-year-old bicyclist unconscious on the road with severe injuries. Unfortunately, the bicyclist died as a result of his injuries.
Authorities are withholding his name until his next of kin is notified.
Officials eventually located the suspect at his residence. CHP arrested and booked Dubois into the Contra Costa County Jail on charges of felony hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter.
